Expect delays while these detours are in use, which is expected to be between 7 AM and 4 PM both days. Reservoir Street (Route 31) Construction
Effective June 21, 2010
(note: date change)

Effective Monday, June 21st, Reservoir Street (Route 31) south of the center intersection will be decreased to one lane of traffic. The area affected will be from Village Repair to the vicinity of Greystone Drive. This project is expected to be in effect weekdays from 7AM until 3PM for approximately 2 months.

Updates will be posted here as they become available.

Please plan your commute and errands accordingly and drive cautiously and patiently through the construction zone. Thank you.

Princeton Street Closure
Effective 4/3/10 thru undetermined date

Effective immediately, Princeton Street is closed at the Post Office, just north of the Quinapoxet Street/Mt Pleasant Avenue crossroads. The closure is due to bridge repair and will remain in effect for an undetermined amount of time.

Traveling north on Princeton Street from Main Street, Quinapoxet Street (on the right) leads to Wachusett Street (Route 31) and Mt Pleasant Avenue (on the left) leads back out to Main Street further north (at Holden Hills Golf Course).

Traveling south on Princeton Street from Princeton, outlets are Elmwood Avenue, which leads to Wachusett Street (Route 31) and Whitney Street (turns into Bryant Road), which leads to Route 68.

Both Elmwood Avenue and Whitney Street/Bryant Road are narrow, rural roads. Please use extreme caution and courtesy when using these streets. Drive slowly and carefully as there are many blind driveways, etc. Thank you.
CURRENT RADAR SCHEDULE
Radar is performed to ensure that traffic proceeds at safe speeds, preventing vehicle and pedestrian accidents. To assist in making sure citizens slow down in certain areas, we print the radar schedule so you will know where to find officers running radar on a particular date. Radar may also be run in other areas of town at any time.
Important Note about our Radar Schedules:
Effective with the May 2010 list, our radar location schedules are posted in pdf format. Click the month below to access it. You will need Adobe Reader to open the pdf file. Return to the top of this page to download Adobe Reader.
